Shift: 12-Hour Days | Every Other Weekend & Holiday Rotation
Position Overview:
Seeking experienced Day Shift Travel RNs to join adult Med/Surg/Tele units. This facility provides care at a Level 1 trauma center, and candidates with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience are strongly preferred. EPIC experience is also preferred. Candidates must be skilled in starting IVs, drawing labs, and monitoring telemetry.
Qualifications:
Current New York State RN License (active and in good standing)
BLS Certification (must be valid or able to be recertified)
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care Med/Surg experience (within the past 2 years)
Experience in a facility of equal or greater size/acuity or a trauma center required
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
Duties:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting
Provide direct patient care with minimal supervision
Initiate IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes
