Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

As an Intermediate Care Unit/Emergency Department Float Pool RN will see a variety of patient populations including Cardiac Step Down, Adult IMC, Blood and Marrow Transplant units, and Emergency Department.
This position is 0.75 FTE ( 60 hours

per two weeks), 12 hour shifts on the

NIGHT

shift with an every third weekend commitment.

Job Overview:
RN performs responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act.
The registered nurse is responsible and accountable for patient assessment, analysis, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention application, and the identification and evaluation of outcomes for patients of all ages and populations.
Establish and implement nursing care plans for assigned patient populations through assessment, development, activation, evaluation, and discharge.
Conducts ongoing assessments as determined by patient’s condition and/or the hospital policies, procedures or protocols and prioritizes care accordingly.
Demonstrates ability to deliver care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
Required Qualifications
MN RN License
BLS for Health Care Providers
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Recent within one-year med/surg RN experience
Certification in a related specialty is highly desired
