Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN with at least one year of acute or chronic care experience for a Home Health position requiring an active NC or compact license and Epic EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting serving acute and chronically ill patient populations
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Full-time assignment with 40 hours per week
- Requires prior experience with the Epic EMR system
- Coordinate and deliver nursing care with a focus on patient assessment, planning, and evaluation
- Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning
- Involve multidisciplinary resources and collaborate with the care team
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Required to attend ongoing education and participate in performance improvement initiatives
- Must report promptly for required drug screening and background check after offer
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license
- Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school
- Minimum of one year nursing experience caring for acute and chronically ill patients
- Proficiency in completing timely documentation
- Previous experience with Epic EMR required
