Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Core hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be needed as job duties demand.

Job summary

Work with Inventory Management to Cycle Count inventory, audit inventory daily, reconcile inventory discrepancies and customer order claims for JSI Sales/Customer Service.

Experience and knowledge requirements

Fork Truck Experience - Counterbalance and Stock Picker

Inventory reconciliation by matching stock records with what is physically available.

·

Being prompt and precise while performing cycle counts and other job duties.

·

Cycle count inventory daily to find and rectify any inventory record discrepancies.

·

Trouble shoot and resolve inventory issues, including but not limited to inconsistent tracking, warehouse efficiency, inventory loss, communication between departments in conjunction with manager of department.

·

Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company’s standards.

Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products in conjunction with insight from manager.

Use of critical thinking skills to communicate ways with managers to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems.

The ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and prompt manner is important in this position.

Extensively using basic math skills for all units of measurement. Understanding grams, kilograms, ounces, pounds, tons, millimeters, centimeters, meters, and kilometers, inches, feet, and being able to do various computations.

Work Environment

This position works in a warehouse setting. Outdoor exposure to be expected. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. As well as standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, tow motors (industrial power truck), stock pickers, box cutters and tape dispensers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly talk or listen. The employee often must stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must often lift or move items over 5 pounds daily.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Ability to use inventory software programs.

·

One year of prior warehouse/inventory experience.
