Position Summary

The Front End Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the front-end operations, including cash handling procedures, customer service standards, and team member coordination. Reporting directly to the Store Director, this position plays a key role in ensuring that the checkout process runs smoothly and that company policies are followed consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise cashier and bagger teams during assigned shifts

• Enforce proper cash handling and register procedures

• Ensure front-end cleanliness, organization, and visual standards

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues

• Support training and development of front-end team members

• Communicate effectively with store leadership and staff

• Monitor front-end supplies and request replenishment as needed

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in a retail or grocery environment preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team

• Basic math and cash handling skills

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and kneel for extended periods
