Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist experienced in neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging for weekend night shifts with a focus on oncology cases.

Responsibilities

• Position supports both inpatient and outpatient imaging
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Average daily census is 35–40 MRI cases
• Unit performs neuro, abdominal, musculoskeletal, and oncology imaging
• Procedures utilize Siemens equipment and PACS system
• Electronic documentation using Epic EMR
• Night shift, 3x12 hour block schedule, Sunday to Tuesday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Responsibilities include performing and post-processing a variety of MRI procedures
• Oncology imaging experience is valued
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon signing contract
• Locals are accepted for this position
• Previous employees eligible if separated from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees at any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible for travel roles
• All requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to contract
• Scrubs or dress code information not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI experience required
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Valid Ohio State MRI license required if applicable
• Demonstrated proficiency in neuro, abdominal, pelvis, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging
• Experience working in adult ICU, adult outpatient, and pediatric acute care settings
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Siemens imaging equipment
• Ability to perform advanced procedures including fusion, gradient echo, ADC mapping, MIP, MRP, perfusion, spectroscopy, and spin echo imaging
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor or manager
