Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10-Hour (07:00AM - 3:00PM)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Provide patient care, including care of patients in restraints, lift/transfer assistance, and patient/family teaching.
• Perform chart checks, emergency response, and use of crash cart and defibrillator.
• Administer external beam therapy, including IMRT, electron beam therapy, and prostate cancer treatment with seeds/fiducials.
• Conduct CT simulation, tumor localization, custom molds, and custom shields.
• Utilize CBCT/kV/mV imaging for pretreatment.
• Operate treatment units include Elekta Infinity, Elekta Versa HD, and HexaPOD.
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, respiratory, social services, transportation, and rapid response teams.
• Treat adults and geriatric patients with all cancer diagnoses, including SBRT, ExacTrac Dynamic, and ABC procedures.

Required Certifications and Skills:

• ARRT (R)
• BLS (AHA or equivalent)
• Adult outpatient care experience

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Epic charting system experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Beam modifying/positioning skills

Patient Ratios:

• Days: 1:2
