Position Overview:

We are seeking a versatile OB/LDRP/MedSurg RN for a small, traveler-friendly critical access hospital. This role will primarily involve caring for MedSurg patients, but candidates must be fully capable of providing complete perinatal and L&D care when OB patients are admitted. On average, the facility handles 1 delivery per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide bedside care for MedSurg patients
Float to and manage labor and delivery cases when needed
Deliver comprehensive perinatal care, including fetal monitoring and postnatal assessments
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for all patient types
Document accurately in CPSI (training provided)

Requirements:

Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
Experience Preferred:
- MedSurg and L&D experience required
- Telemetry and pediatric experience preferred (not mandatory)

EMR System: CPSI (training provided)
Floating: Yes, between MedSurg and OB/L&D based on patient volume
Environment: Supportive and traveler-friendly staff in a flexible, team-based setting
Shift Notes: Primarily nights with some flexibility for day shifts
