Local Delivery Driver

In this role, you'll leverage your leadership skills, teamwork, and dedication to provide timely and efficient deliveries to our commercial customers and stores. You will drive company-provided vehicles, guaranteeing safe transportation of parts without the need for a CDL.
What We're Looking For?

Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
Valid Driver's License & Safety Compliance: You must possess a valid driver's license and comply with AutoZone's driver safety standards for secure vehicle operation.
Automotive Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive parts is required.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible Schedule: Availability for full-time hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and potential overtime.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English.
Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail is a plus.
Hazmat Endorsement Preferred: A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a bonus, ensuring compliance with regulations for handling specific materials.

Efficient Deliveries

- Transport automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores, maintaining proper documentation for each delivery.
Safety & Compliance

- Follow company policies and safety protocols to guarantee accident-free transportation.
Vehicle Maintenance & Store Standards

- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in upholding store merchandising standards as required.
Returns & Restocking Tasks

- Efficiently handle returns, process merchandise, and restock items from route deliveries.
Customer Assistance & Product Expertise

- Provide support to DIY customers in-store between deliveries, assisting them in locating merchandise and sharing product knowledge, while staying updated on current automotive promotions.
