American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a WI or compact RN license and the ability to interpret tele strips.
Responsibilities- Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 to 07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
- Must be free of latex allergies, as accommodations cannot be provided
- Return staff must be away for at least 1 year before eligibility as a traveler
- Locals accepted at a lower bill rate and must reside within a 50-mile radius
- Holiday coverage and floating may be required
- Travel pairs are accepted
- Active WI or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg Tele experience
- Ability to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips
- Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required before start date
- Two professional supervisor references required, with one from most recent assignment
