Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a current KY license for day shifts in a hospital nuclear medicine setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department using GE, Philips, and Siemens equipment
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Optional on-call coverage available
- Position requires flexibility to float to different units within scope of practice
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures utilizing advanced imaging equipment
- Annual and orientation modules are required and completed online
- First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
- Previous staff must wait 2 years before returning as a traveler
- Backgrounds with explanations may be considered
- Schedule may include unpaid training modules
- Submit required documentation including valid driver’s license and social security card
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
- BLS certification required
- Current KY Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required if applicable
- Must provide two professional references for consideration
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
