Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in cardiac and vascular CT imaging, with ARRT certification and strong technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Work in a hospital setting specializing in cardiovascular patients
• Primary patient population is adults and geriatrics with various cardiovascular diseases
• Average caseload of 18-20 CT scans per 8-hour shift
• Procedures include cardiac, vascular, abdomen, head/neck, and pelvis CT scans
• Uses Siemens Naeotom Alpha CT Scanner
• Role involves operating CT equipment, patient preparation and monitoring, ensuring image quality, and maintaining detailed records
• Must adhere to strict safety and infection control policies
• Strong collaboration skills required to work with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support services available include IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response, and patient transport
• Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately upon contract signing
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or director
• Former employees eligible if separated from facility for at least 6 months
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application

Requirements

• ARRT certification in CT is required
• Valid state license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CT Technologist
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
• BLS certification required
• Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, and ICU settings
• Proficiency in CT imaging procedures and protocols
