Registered Nurse (RN)-Recovery

Job Type:PRN, Variable Shifts

Shift Differentials:  Evening $2.50/hour / Night $4.00/hour / Weekend $1.50/hour

 

Department/Unit Summary

The operating room is equipped with six beds and handles an average of 400 cases per month. The scope of procedures includes a diverse range of specialties: Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Cataract and Retinal Eye surgeries, Gynecologic, Laparoscopic and Endoscopic, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic and Reconstructive, Prostate, and Gastroenterological surgeries.The majority ofcases are general and orthopedic. Surgical operations are conducted Monday through Friday, withadditionalnight, weekend, and holiday call rotations to ensure continuous coverage.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and requirements
• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State.

Additionalrequirements include

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) isrequiredwithin 30 daysof hire.
• AHA ACLS and AHA PALS arerequiredwithin six months of hire. 
• Handle With Care within90 daysof hire 
• One year of experience preferred
