Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Zephyrhills, FL 33542. This is a 2+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

$20-23/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
Schedule:

Mon - Fri 8 am to 5 pm (5 days/wk.)

Job Responsibilities:
Ability to evaluate patient needs, administer prescribed medications, assist physician with examinations and treatment, prepare and apply dressings, and instruct patients in health measures and self-care as instructed by the physician.
Ability to document and report findings and observations.
Ability to perform EKGs.
Ability to complete a color blindness test.
Must be computer literate. Advanced, demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance.

Qualifications:
Highschool/GED or equivalent.
Current, Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
Current, BLS Certification
