Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Roswell, NM

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start:– End

• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (18:00 – 06:30)
• Hours per Week: 36 or 48 hours available
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $$1880
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
• Scrubs: Provided (purple, navy blue, or OR scrubs)
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Active NM or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
• Skilled in couplet care, labor management, and circulating own cesarean sections
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• Charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred
• Deliver comprehensive care for laboring patients, including triage and couplet care
• Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care for mothers and newborns
• Circulate and recover cesarean section patients independently
• Support breastfeeding and lactation for new mothers
• Perform newborn assessments and provide neonatal care
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circumcisions
• Float to similar units within nursing scope as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response)
• Document all patient care using Epic EMR system
• Work scheduled weekend shifts (12 weekend shifts per contract)
