Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report highlighting its condition.
• Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and secure the keys during off-hour deliveries.
• Safely drive the tractor-trailer to its destination while applying your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and maneuvering skills.
• Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
• Unload the trailer and deliver products directly to customer premises.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
• What Qualifications Do You Bring?
• At least 21 years of age.
• Current and valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• Minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• The ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational standards.
