Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, BLS and ARRT certification, and proficiency using Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital X-ray department
• Provides diagnostic imaging for a diverse patient population
• Preferred skills include experience with GE, Siemens, PACS systems, and portable X-ray equipment
• Utilizes the Epic electronic medical record system
• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 12:30 to 23:00
• Works every third weekend
• On-call duties are required
• Orientation provided on unit-specific protocols and procedures
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after contract signing
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted up front and built into contract
• Scrub color or dress code details will be provided at orientation

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of X-ray technologist experience
• BLS and ARRT certifications are required
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• Skill with GE, Siemens, PACS, and portable X-ray units is preferred
• Two professional references are required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor
• Current employees of Ohio State University Hospital are ineligible
• Former employees are eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months
• License required if applicable
