Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Night/Day 4x12-Hour Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule or Shift

Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) and Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) rotations.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and the ability to handle critical situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients with various medical conditions and injuries.
• Perform assessments, plan interventions, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as per physician orders.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, and blood products administration.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State RN License (must be in hand).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (preferred), TNCC (preferred).
• Preferred skills: IV therapy/phlebotomy, continuous IV sedation, respiratory management, and neurological care.
