Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with at least 3 years of experience and strong proficiency in TTE, TEE, and echo stress exams.

Responsibilities

• Work in a dedicated cardiac ultrasound unit
• Adult patient population undergoing a variety of cardiac diagnostic exams
• Proficiency with Philips equipment preferred
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Day shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• May be required to float within a 25 mile radius to other facilities as needed
• Responsible for performing comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations including TTE, TEE, and stress echos
• Must be able to float to nearby facilities per policy
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must report this status
• Local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• Personal scrubs required

Requirements

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer with at least 3 years of recent experience
• Proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and echo stress exams required
• Experience with Epic EMR and Philips ultrasound equipment preferred
• Driver’s License required at time of consideration
• Must provide 2 professional references
• License required if applicable
