PrideStaff is looking for a
Material Handler
to join our team at a leading roofing supplier in

Location: Mooresville, NC 28117
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, you will be a vital part of our warehouse operations, responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and handling of roofing materials. Your duties will include:
Operating a forklift to safely load, unload, stack, and move materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
Serving as a "floater," working across different departments as needed to support various warehouse functions.
Handling materials manually, which includes lifting 50-60 lbs on a regular basis.
Assisting with inventory counts, staging materials for delivery, and receiving shipments.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in material handling and forklift operation (sit-down or counterbalance preferred).
Forklift Certification: A current certification is a plus, but we will provide on-the-job training and certification for the right candidate.
Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs regularly and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
Teamwork: Proven ability to work well with others and function as part of a cohesive team.
Work Ethic: Must be detail-oriented, take ownership of tasks, and care deeply about the quality of your work.
Requirements
Steel-toed boots are required for this position.
All other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided by the company.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00
