Job Summary and Qualifications

The Lead Environmental Services coordinates the operations and activities of the Environmental Services Department within assigned hospital and hospital department/campus locations.
You will Coordinator provides consistent, high-quality service in a sanitary environment while ensuring State, Local, Federal and Joint Commission regulations, established policies and procedures and department standards of performance are met.
You will evaluate existing systems and processes, initiates changes and improvements, and makes suggestions to Manager
You will demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all current policies, procedures and regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA, EEOC and others) within all food and nutritional services areas
You will support department leadership and acts to achieve the daily operations of the Environmental Services
You will department assigned areas encompassing but not limited to all patient and non-patient areas of assigned square footage
You will Provides support for the preparation of department records as well as recurring and special reports and analyses indicating bed management turnaround times and so forth as required/requested
Qualifications:
One - three years experience in EVS
One year of lead experience preferred.
Must be able to read and understand English for safety
Working knowledge of how to clean a patient room and how to use floor equipment to maintain floors.
