Overview
Prime Healthcare Saint Francis Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the Telemetry Unit. The RN will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, direct and guide patient/family teaching, and collaborate with physicians regarding patient status.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Telemetry Unit.

Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.

Communicate with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition, cardiac monitoring, diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.

Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.

Current BLS certificate on hire and maintained.

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.

Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.

Ventilator management experience preferred.

RN‑BC or similar certification preferred.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
