Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a Level III trauma hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and proficiency with Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital Cath Lab with 12 daily cases
• Level III trauma hospital environment
• Schedule is either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts with start times at 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM
• Call required every third weekend and 1-2 days per week (late or call)
• Weekend and holiday coverage are for call only
• Staff may float to interventional radiology if proficient and between hospital/affiliate locations as census requires
• Cerner EMR experience required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start date; pending certifications accepted
• A maximum of 10 days of requested time off, with a willingness to work at least one holiday if time off falls during the holiday period
• Up to 8 hours of paid online modules must be completed pre-start within 1 week of contract signing
• Blue scrubs required
• No parking costs for staff
• A 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not accepted
• Professional conduct is strictly enforced, and attendance or behavioral issues may result in immediate contract termination

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• RCIS certification preferred but not required
• Current or pending state license required by start date; license required if applicable
• Experience working in a trauma environment preferred
• Cerner EMR proficiency required
• Must not have worked at the facility in the past 3 years
