Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Preferred 24 months of Critical Care experience.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• • Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission).
• • COVID vaccination required after submission.

If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Required Skills/Experience: Skills required: cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring, vent/trachs and bipap management, invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, chest tubes, IV medication titration; may act as “lead” in ED holding.

Required Credentials: NURSYS.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Types: respiratory failure, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, general post-op patients, CVA’s, ETOH, overdose; NO craniotomies, major traumas, or major cardiothoracic

Equipment Used on Unit: Charting System & Equipment: EPIC (required), Alaris (IV Pumps), Pyxis (medication dispensing)

Unit/Facility Details: 16 ICU beds.

Special Requests: Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other.

Floating Requirements: This is a floating position throughout Auburn (or possibly Covington) to any ICU level patient or below; majority of time (75%) will be spent with PCU level patients in ED overflow.

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - 1 required for submission
