RN Position Job Notes

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Travel assignment position
• Work in an 11-operating room facility
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios
• OR Charge Nurse experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Assist with general OR surgeries, neuro/spine procedures, cardiovascular surgeries, orthopedic procedures, gynecological surgeries, and robotic surgeries
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Must demonstrate flexibility, easy-going personality, and excellent communication skills
• Work alongside experienced staff including charge nurses, technicians, and specialized teams
• Support trauma team, neuro team, and heart team on-call coverage

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department with 11 modern operating rooms and a skilled team of 53 staff members. The facility specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures including general surgery, neurosurgery, spine surgery, cardiovascular procedures, orthopedics, gynecology, and advanced robotic surgeries. The organization maintains Trauma Level II designation and provides 24/7 surgical support with specialized teams for trauma, neurosurgical, and cardiovascular emergencies.
