Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant role involves working closely with patients from start to finish, ensuring a seamless experience. You will be responsible for rooming patients, scribing, presenting information to the doctor, and following up as needed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients efficiently and ensure they are comfortable.
• Accurately scribe and document patient information.
• Present patient information and updates to the doctor.
• Follow up with patients to ensure continuity of care.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in medical assisting and biology.
• Experience or training in pre-med and scribing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in biology or pre-med is advantageous.
• Experience as a medical assistant or scribe.

Work Environment

This position offers hands-on experience in a clinical setting across various locations including Avista, Lakewood, Westminster, and Longmont clinics. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with the possibility of floating to a secondary clinic one day per week. You will work closely with a dedicated provider. The role is ideal for those pursuing higher education, offering clinical hours, networking opportunities, and a supportive team of doctors. Expect a typical schedule of 35-40 hours per week, allowing flexibility for educational pursuits. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Golden, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
