The Medical Assistant (MA) supports the practice manager and physicians by maintaining a patient/customer focus and delivering high-quality care. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient and customer-centered care and are committed to meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets. The MA provides patient care through preparation, interviewing, technical tasks, and communication with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians and practice manager in providing high-quality care.

Maintain a patient and customer focus in all tasks.

Ensure patient satisfaction and meet financial and operational targets.

Perform patient preparation and interviewing.

Execute technical tasks related to patient care.

Facilitate communication with patients and their families.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma required.

2+ years of Medical Assistant experience, ideally in a medical facility.

Certification preferred.

Previous EPIC experience preferred.

Work Environment

The Medical Assistant must be flexible to work until the physician has completed all patient appointments, which may require staying beyond the typical end time to finish the day. Schedules are adjusted for shifts worked over 8 hours, with shift schedules released by the practice manager one week in advance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morrisville, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
