Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT, BLS, and Epic EMR proficiency for a 13-week day shift contract.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an interventional radiology department
- Work schedule consists of 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- On-call required: one weekday every 2-3 weeks and one weekend every 2 months with a 30-minute response time
- Patient population and procedures typical for interventional radiology
- Candidates may be asked to float within their scope of practice
- Epic charting experience is required
- Modules completed during orientation may take up to 16 hours and are recorded in Workday
- Return staff must be separated from UVA Health system for one year and may not return if previously on assignment for 365 days
- Up to 40 hours RTO permitted per 13-week contract, additional requests will not be approved after acceptance
- Parking available closer during call shifts
- 50 mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted for this unit
Requirements
- Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
- VA Radiologic Technologist License required; pending accepted with temporary authorization, but must be in-hand before starting
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two references required for consideration
- License required if applicable
