Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and either RCIS or ARRT with a California license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac catheterization lab specializing in coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker placements, and peripheral aortograms
• Day shifts, 4x10 hours, with start times at 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM
• Call requirement of 8 to 12 call shifts per month plus one weekend of call per month
• Patient populations include those requiring coronary and peripheral vascular interventions and device implants
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cath Lab procedures
• Return staff or travelers must have at least a one-year break before returning
• Only one holiday will be approved for time off
• Candidates must be able to report for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• A 50 mile radius rule applies for travel eligibility; locals accepted at a lower rate
• Modules are completed during orientation via e-learning and may require 1-5 hours
• All certifications must be AHA or American Red Cross and valid at the time of consideration

Requirements

• Current CA license required
• Either RCIS or ARRT certification required
• Radiology Technologist (California ARRT) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring procedures
• Experience in coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker placements, and peripheral aortograms
• Must be able to work call as scheduled
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
