eCommerce Specialist

Position Summary

The eCommerce Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's online sales channels to drive growth, enhance customer experience, and ensure smooth day-to-day digital operations. This role involves coordinating product listings, monitoring website and marketplace performance, analyzing sales data, and supporting digital marketing initiatives. The specialist works cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, and IT teams to deliver a seamless online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update product listings, descriptions, pricing, and inventory across eCommerce platforms (company website, Amazon, Shopify, etc.).

• Ensure product content (images, specifications, copy) meets brand standards and is optimized for SEO.

• Monitor eCommerce performance metrics such as traffic, conversion, sales, and customer behavior.

• Collaborate with digital marketing teams on promotions, email campaigns, and paid advertising to drive online traffic and sales.

• Partner with operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment, shipping, and returns processes.

• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical or customer-related issues related to online platforms.

• Prepare and deliver regular reports on eCommerce performance, sales trends, and ROI.

• Support new eCommerce initiatives, platform upgrades, and integration projects.

• Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep the company's eCommerce strategy competitive.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred).

• 2–4 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or online retail operations.

• Experience with platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Amazon Seller Central, or WooCommerce.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of SEO, digital merchandising, and online customer experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Power BI).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics is a plus.
