Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist (Radiology Technologist) with a valid NYSDOH license and BLS certification for a weekday day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 400-bed hospital setting
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with every 4th weekend rotation
• Uses GE radiology equipment
• Charting is completed using Epic EMR
• De-escalation training through Welle, CPI, PMC, or NAPPI is required
• Candidates who have worked as staff within the past year at this hospital or within the past six months in the AMC network are not eligible
• Local caregivers residing within 50 miles are eligible for consideration
• Up to 5 shift cancellations per contract may occur per facility policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent X-Ray Tech experience required
• Current NYSDOH radiology license (ARRT) required (license required if applicable)
• Active BLS certification required
• De-escalation training certification required
• Flu vaccination is required unless valid religious or medical documentation is provided
