Customer Service Representative

OverviewThe Mortgage Customer Service Representative handles inbound calls related to homeowners insurance, assisting borrowers, agents, and financial institutions with payment and coverage inquiries. The role requires multitasking across systems, accurate documentation, and professional problem-solving to meet service standards. What You’ll DoHandle approximately 35–45 inbound calls daily, averaging 11–14 minutes per callRespond to insurance servicing inquiries related to homeowners insuranceAssist borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions with payment and coverage questionsNavigate multiple systems to research and accurately document each callDeliver prompt, professional, and accurate service to meet internal and external standardsApply strong problem-solving and resolution skills to address customer concernsMaintain professionalism and efficiency across all interactions What You BringMinimum of 1 year of recent customer service experience (call center preferred; front desk/admin experience acceptable)Proficiency in using a Windows PC and navigating software systemsTyping speed of at least 35 words per minuteStrong verbal and written communication skills for phone and email interactionsStable internet connection for remote training and workReliable transportation for potential onsite needsNice to Have:2+ years of call center experienceExperience in insurance or mortgage services Schedule & TrainingContract to HireWork Setup: Onsite during Training then Hybrid (2 days onsite; 3 days WFH)Start Date: October 29, 2025Shift for Training: 9:30AM - 6:00PMLocation: 700 Tower Drive, Troy, Michigan, 48098Available Shifts after Training: (Monday - Friday)10:30AM - 7:00PM11:30AM - 8:00PM Pay and BenefitsPay: $17/hourMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement savings planLife and disability insurancePay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
