Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2450 - $2510
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Radiologic Technologist Contract)
• Location: South Bend, IN 46601 – Indiana healthcare jobs
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 – 17:30) or 5x8-hour (07:00 – 15:30, occasional 08:00 start)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: 1 night/week and every 4th weekend
• Float Requirement: May float to Interventional Radiology or affiliate hospitals as needed
• Scrub Color: Light blue (provided)
• Charting System: Cerner EMR experience required

Qualifications for CT / Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (2 years preferred)
• Active or pending Indiana state Radiologic Technologist license
• Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCES or RCIS (pending certifications accepted)
• Experience in community hospital and trauma level II settings required; trauma level I experience preferred
• Travel healthcare experience preferred
• Cerner charting experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Strong professional conduct and reliability essential

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and Cath Lab procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring, pacemaker insertion, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Support inpatient and outpatient radiology and cardiac cases: STEMI, IV starts, phlebotomy, EP ablations, pacemaker (PM) implants, and coil embolization
• Float to Interventional Radiology or affiliate Indiana hospitals as needed
• Participate in call rotation (1 night/week, every 4th weekend)
• Maintain sterile technique and accurate monitoring during all procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, Pharmacy, etc.)
• Complete required onboarding modules (up to 8 hours) prior to assignment start
• Adhere to hospital policies and demonstrate professional conduct at all times
