Customer Service Representative

Pharmacy Clerk

The Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for pharmacy data entry and handling phone calls to communicate decisions regarding Prior Authorization (PA) to members and providers. This role primarily involves data entry, requiring the use of two screens in a highly production-driven environment. Meeting goals and adhering to the schedule are critical components of this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacy data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Handle phone calls to members and providers, providing information on PA decisionsapproved, denied, or requiring additional information.
• Maintain adherence to a production-driven schedule, ensuring goals are met and exceeded.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and other relevant software to support administrative tasks.
• Provide printer support as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in data entry.
• Customer service skills.
• Administrative support proficiency.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written communication abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy-related roles.
• Exposure to Managed Care or Pharmacy services.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, with an alternative training schedule. Initially, work hours are Monday to Friday, either 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Post-training, the tentative schedule is Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with Mondays off. Employees are eligible for health, dental, and vision benefits while on contract. Pay and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
