Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with strong independent procedural skills and registration in radiologic technology.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology department performing a range of IR procedures including thrombectomy (PE/Stroke), TIPS, and angioplasty
• Patient population includes adults requiring advanced interventional radiologic care
• Extensive use of GE and Siemens equipment in the IR procedure rooms
• Day shift with 10-hour shifts, including every other weekend and regular on-call coverage
• Ability to work independently in IR procedure rooms and manage trauma call
• Scrub and circulator role responsibilities are required
• Must pass Tele/ECG and medication tests if applicable
• Weekly orientation is offered every Monday except holidays
• All time-off requests must be presented at the time of application
• No candidates accepted who have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility as travel, per diem or perm within the last six months
• Parking fees may be required and can be up to $43 per day
• Scrub attire policy is in effect
• 50-mile radius rule applies—locals are only considered on a case by case basis

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent IR experience required
• Completion of vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology
• Active Massachusetts Radiology License required if applicable
• Registration as RT ARRT required
• Thrombectomy device knowledge and proficiency in angio procedures including TIPS and angioplasty
• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging platforms required
• COVID-19 vaccination series and booster, and seasonal flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
