Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in general, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital ultrasound department performing approximately 15 scans per day
• Patient population includes general, OB/GYN, and vascular cases
• Imaging experience includes abdomen, small parts, OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic scans, and a wide range of vascular studies
• Procedures may include assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• EMR system is Epic
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Must be available to work two out of three major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Limit of one day off request permitted between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Expect a variety of imaging responsibilities including OB dating and fetal anatomy, vascular duplex and Doppler studies, and assistance with specific procedures
• Scrub attire policy and further details will be provided during onboarding

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required
• Experience in all vascular scans is required
• ARDMS (RVT) and BLS certifications required
• Active state license and certifications required if applicable
• Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
• First-time travelers considered with 2 years of experience
