Unit: 9 beds (PICU & stepdown)
Ratios: PICU 1:1–2; Stepdown 1:2–3
Charting: Cerner
Scrubs: Navy or white
Schedule: 6-week block; 3 weekends required
Float: To Peds & NICU
Requirements:
1+ year PICU experience
PALS certification
Procedures: IV starts, caths, LP support, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding/placement, ICP monitoring, ventilator management
