Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy certification, and at least 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac cath lab within an acute care setting
• Unit consists of 2 suites/labs and an average of 5 cases per day
• Procedures include RHC, LHC, PCI, EP, Rotablator, and peripheral interventions
• EMR system used is Cerner
• Team includes 3 Cath Lab/IR Technologists
• Schedule is 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time, including 1–2 weekends per month
• One holiday shift required during contract
• Responsible for a variety of cardiovascular procedures including interventional and peripheral cases
• Must be able to take on-call assignments with a 30-minute response time
• One holiday shift is required during the assignment
• Returning travelers may not have been employed by any affiliated facility in the past year unless previously PRN through outside firms
• Scrubs/dress code requirements provided by the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent cardiac cath lab experience required
• Active ARRT and BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active Fluoroscopy permit and LA City Fire & Safety Card required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active state license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted. License required if applicable
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
• Must provide 2 professional references: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and eligibility for rehire
