Unit Details: SMH Level 3 RN L&D
As an L&D RN, you’ll care for patients throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process. You’ll support families during life-changing moments while managing high-risk situations with skill and empathy.
Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery

~ Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth

~ Educate and support patients and families on birth plans and newborn care

~ Manage emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress

~ Active RN license (Compact license preferred)

~ NRP and fetal monitoring certification preferred

~ Minimum 1–2 years of recent L&D nursing experience

~ Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols and fetal monitoring interpretation
