Travel MRI Technologist – Radiology
Location: Huntsville, AL

Shift: Days – Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist. The role requires expertise in performing MRI studies across multiple areas of the body, including soft tissue, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging for various clinical indications, adjusting parameters as needed for optimal image quality.

• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently following departmental protocols.

• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.

• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

• Document procedures accurately in the department’s EMR system.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years MRI experience

• Certification: ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) registered

• Education: Preferred but not required: graduate of an accredited AMA school of Radiologic Technology

• License: State License as a general radiographer

• Skills: Knowledge of MRI imaging techniques for soft tissue, brain, spine, joints, and extremities; ability to work independently in a clinical setting
