Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist proficient in neuro and body IR procedures with at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center within the Interventional Radiology department
• Perform both neuro and body IR procedures using single and biplane Siemens radiography units
• Care provided to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients with a wide range of acuity levels
• Outpatient and inpatient procedural setting
• Shift is Wednesday through Saturday, 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required one weekend per month and 1 to 2 days per week
• Expect to float to other units or serve as Patient Observer (Sitter) as needed
• Uses McKesson PACS and Cerner PowerChart, with Cerner experience preferred
• Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of neuro and body IR procedures across a range of acuity levels
• Position requires willingness to float throughout the facility and serve as a Patient Observer (Sitter) if needed
• 50% holiday and 50% weekend coverage required during the contract
• Candidates living within 75 miles may be considered as locals at a reduced rate
• Annual and orientation modules required and completed onsite

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year in interventional radiology
• Active MO or Compact state license required (license required if applicable)
• Experience with single and biplane Siemens radiography units
• Proficient in supporting neuro and body interventional radiology procedures
• Ability to care for diverse population including adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics
• Must provide two supervisory references for consideration
