Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)*
Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts/week

Position Overview

Methodist South Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Emergency Room. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years recent ER experience along with travel nursing experience. This is a Level I Trauma Center within a large hospital setting. Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility. First-time travelers are generally not accepted unless they have over 3 years of recent experience.

Certifications & Requirements

• RN License: Active Tennessee RN license or compact license – Required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent ER experience with travel experience (strict requirement)
• Travel Experience: At least 1 completed travel assignment preferred
• Education: ADN accepted; BSN required only for select positions (not ER)
• Certifications: BLS required (renewal plans must be included if expiring)
• Charting System: Cerner preferred

• Skilled in Emergency Room nursing with trauma and critical care
• Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability to schedule changes and floating as needed
