Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, available for 4x10 day shifts in a transplant and primary stroke center environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a transplant facility and primary stroke center with a strong focus on MRI and MRA procedures
• Schedule is Saturday through Tuesday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 4x10 hour day shifts
• No call required
• Floating may occur within scope of practice or to outpatient settings as needed
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Compliance with all onboarding and training modules is mandatory prior to start
• Assignment may require work on major holidays according to facility coverage policy
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed; no RTO during the first week of assignment
• Scrub or dress code information will be provided prior to orientation
• Locals are accepted at the same pay rate
• Travelers must not have worked in any Piedmont facility within the last year to be eligible
• Travel pairs are not assigned to the same shift on the same unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience required
• GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Two supervisory references highly preferred for consideration; must be from managers or higher
• Ability to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract is required
