Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of cardiac catheterization experience and required certifications to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting within a dedicated cardiac cath lab
• Unit consists of 2 procedure rooms with approximately 50 cases per week
• Primary procedures involve adult cardiac catheterization utilizing Witt monitoring systems
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 4x10 hour day shifts
• Call is required 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month with 24-hour weekend coverage
• On-call shifts are distributed evenly among staff, including potential holiday coverage
• Allscripts Sunrise EMR is used in this facility
• RNs are not permitted to scrub per West Virginia law
• No local travelers; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Previous employees of this health system must have at least a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may only work within this health system for one year before a 2-year break is required
• May be scheduled for holiday coverage if assignment coincides with holidays

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac catheterization lab experience required
• Current ACLS, ARRT, and BLS certifications required
• WV RT license required; license required if applicable
• Experience with Witt monitoring systems preferred
• A copy of an unexpired driver’s license must be provided for consideration
• Ability to participate in call rotation as scheduled
