Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and at least 2 years of acute care experience for a Level II trauma hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting on the CT (Computed Tomography) unit
• Trauma Level II environment
• Equipment includes GE VCT and EVO/Evolution scanners
• 4x10 hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM with rotating weekends
• Utilizes MEDITECH EMR
• Potential to cover vacation and variable day or evening shifts depending on unit needs
• Perform CT procedures following department protocols and produce high-quality studies efficiently
• Operate all CT and ancillary equipment, including Med Rad injector, PACS, VRC, and Powerscribe
• Prepare scanners and rooms, manage quality assurance, and complete administrative duties associated with imaging
• Communicate findings as needed to physicians and clinical teams, and assist with prior exams or additional image requirements
• Stock and maintain clean work areas, ensuring a functional and organized control room
• Rotating weekend shifts are required

Requirements

• Current ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care setting
• Graduate of an AMA-approved educational program in Radiological Technology
• Licensure in Massachusetts required if applicable
• Experience with GE CT equipment preferred
