Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN with an active NY license and Epic EMR proficiency for variable 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Treat acute and emergent patient cases
- Schedule consists of three 12-hour day/night rotating shifts per week
- Includes both day (7:00-19:00) and night (19:00-7:00) shifts
- Floating to other units may be required
- Epic EMR is used and proficiency is required
- Must be available for holiday shifts
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Return staff not eligible if employed at the facility within the past year
- Holiday work coverage is mandatory
- Pre-employment training modules must be completed prior to start
- Time off requests must be submitted with initial application
Requirements
- Active NY RN license in hand required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ER RN experience required
- Experience with Epic EMR is mandatory
- Applicants must live more than 75 miles from the facility
- Must provide two recent professional references from supervisors
- Complete pre-start online modules assigned by specialty
