Registered Nurse - Patient Care

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating the care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. This role requires knowledge of nursing principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. The RN will utilize the nursing process and collaborate with patients, families, professional peers, and other healthcare team members to individualize care. Additionally, the RN will direct nursing support staff in accordance with established standards of nursing practice, as well as administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

• Assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and patient families to optimize patient care.
• Supervise nursing support staff in providing patient care.
• Adhere to current nursing practice standards and departmental policies.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty is preferred.
• Current PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.

This is a 12-hour AM shift position.
