We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor in our residential system. The ideal candidate will have experience in the ID/IDD field. This candidate should be capable of providing oversight and training of direct care staff in the monitoring of the medical systems. Additionally, the nurse will participate in team meetings and provide medically related services to program staff.

Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Support a group home with up to medically frail people with disabilities
• Provide ongoing clinical supervision in collaboration with administrated supervisor to all nurses within the region
• Organize and provide clinical training in regional meetings
• Serve as a resource to the department members and agency staff by providing information as needed
• Select, orient, train, counsel, discipline and direct all nursing staff in collaboration with supervisors in the region
• Participate in regional and department committees requiring clinical skills including but not limited to; Human Rights Committee, Incident Review, Choking committee
• Provide direct assistance in providing clinical coverage as requested by the Nursing coordinator, in any other aspect of the operation of the Nursing Department
• Take leadership role in setting up new nurses' orientation schedules, training, and supervision
• Organize agenda and run regional meetings

Minimum Qualification Requirements

All RN Supervisors must meet the following minimum requirements:

• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Full time flexible day/evening hours
• In good standing for a minimum of two years or prior administrative experience
• Maintain excellence in yearly evaluations
• Demonstrate leadership skills

Preferred Qualification Requirements

• Med/Surg experience
• Experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled population
• Nursing homes, rehabs, or chronic/geriatric care experience

Compensation: $95,000.00-105,000.00 Annually; based upon education and experience

Schedule: M-F, 10a-6p
