ER RN Job Details – Memphis, TN

• Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel ER RN)
• Location: Memphis, Tennessee 38116 (Travel Nursing Assignment)
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 2/2/2026)
• Shift: Night Shift, 4x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:00am)
• Weekly Hours: 48 hours required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910
• Weekend & On-Call: As needed
• Orientation: 16 hours

ER Nurse Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (3+ years preferred)
• At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC guidelines apply)
• Valid driver’s license at time of submission
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Experience in large hospital settings preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) accepted (BSN required for select units)
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (strict rule)
• All requested time off must be submitted with application
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute medical and trauma conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Float between similar units and campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
