RN Position Job Notes

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details

• Work evening shifts with flexible scheduling:,, orbased on facility needs
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be indicated on submission)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Block schedules cannot be accommodated
• Night shift orientates on day shift and must be available the entire week
• Requested time off must be made up on the back end and will not be approved in the first week
• Only 1 holiday RTO request allowed per assignment
• Current RN license meeting Missouri state criteria or currently licensed in Missouri required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA only; TNCC; NIHSS (may obtain prior to start)
• 1 year Emergency Department experience in Level 1 trauma facility OR 2 years in Level 2 trauma facility required
• Experience must be clearly indicated on resume
• 68-bed emergency department with 4:1 patient ratios routinely (ratios not guaranteed during surge)
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Work in busy urban trauma center seeing 200+ patients daily with high acuity cases
• Physical requirements include standing and walking most of shift, lifting and pushing patients, and physical demands up to 50 lbs
